Accent Capital GmbH
We are a boutique investment firm based in Munich (Germany). For over 15 years we have been investing in visionary and capable teams. We hand-pick them worldwide, from seed and early stage to pre-IPOs and IPOs. Since 2016 we also invest in block chain companies, tokens and ICO’s.
Some of our partners have considerable experience as founders and C-level managers of companies. Depending on the company, market and circumstances, we have different commitments in our portfolio companies: as consultants, as company founders, as board members – and sometimes very dedicated.
Relatively often, our portfolio companies have reached No. 1 or No. 2 positions in their respective markets. Accent Capital GmbH always invests globally, including Europe, USA, Canada, South America and Asia. We believe that today, more than ever, talented entrepreneurs and their companies can be found all over the world.

Our Team
Joerg is the founder and CEO of Accent Capital GmbH. He started his career at Commerzbank in Frankfurt realizing that he wanted to build up his own business.
As a first step he worked as an independent capital market consultant for Deutsche Boerse Group, teaching their employees about global stock exchanges. While being a consultant Joerg founded several German financial websites which were successful but the traffic created big server bills, back then a reason to pull the plug.
In 2003 he founded the predecessor of Accent Capital GmbH and consulted private and public companies all over the world in regards to investors and media. Joerg did not paint the wall for Facebook but some of his clients became very successful.
Over the years the consulting business transitioned into an investment business with over 100 private transactions. With successful exits the company was renamed to Accent Capital GmbH.
Ira works in the backoffice of Accent. She was previously PR Manager and Assistant to Managing Director of American-Israeli Welfare Organization (JDC). Ira has a Bachelor degree as linguist from the Rostov Institute of Foreign Languages
Mr. Wolf has more than 25 years of experience in financial markets.
Before joining Accent Capital GmbH in 2011, Pierre Wolf worked as a sales representative in Institutional Sales for 1st Capital Management Group GmbH for 2 years. Prior to his tenure there, he held several positions at BMO Capital Markets. Starting in the back office 1992, he advanced to become a broker after an internship at the headquarters in Toronto in 1996. From there he advanced to be the head of Munich operations, including the positions of compliance and AML officer.
Mr. Wolf holds a graduate degree as an economist (Dipl.) from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and a BA in financial planning from the IHK Munich.
